HENRY BOHNSACK CALLED
February 12, 1914

When it was told Tuesday morning that death had invaded the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bohnsack and taken him from among the living there was deep sadness among the, relatives and friends of the departed one.

For some time it was know that he was a sufferer from Bright's Disease but few realized he was so serious until the last weeks of his illness. He had suffered considerably the past year and every medical attention had been given him. On January 31, he was taken to an Omaha Hospital and given the best medical attention possible but he seemed to fail rather than improve. On Sunday February 8th, he was brought home and here surrounded by his relatives he passed away, Tuesday, February 10, 1914.

Henry Bohnsack, son of Mr. And Mrs. Chris Bohnsack, was born May 20, 1888, and was 25 years, 9 months and 20 days old at the time of his death.

He was married to Miss Amanda Mundt, February 12, 1913, and together they lived on a farm just east of Manning. He and Miss Mundt were confirmed together March 31, 1912, and were ever faithful members and workers for the German Friedens Church.

The deceased was a most excellent young man. His character was of the highest type and above reproach. Few were his enemies if any, and many were his friends.

Devoted to his wife and his church they were looked upon as a model young couple.

But death, the great leveler came, not-withstanding every medical care and attention.

It has taken him from among the living, but the friends and relatives can always feel that he had not lived in vain. The good he has already done will live after him.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon al 1:30 at the M.E. Church. Rev. Fruechte, who confirmed and married him, will conduct the service.

The M.W.A. officers and members will attend the funeral in a body as a token of their esteem and friendship of their departed member.

The bereaved wife and the relatives of the deceased have the sympathy of all in their hour of great sorrow.
