Ewoldt Services Held Thursday
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. from the Presbyterian Church in Manilla for Henry Ewoldt, 64, who died at his home north of Manilla Tuesday morning. Rev. J.M. Klosterboer, officiated at the services with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Crawford County coroner Harry Maxwell ruled the death as self-inflicted.

Ewoldt is survived by his wife, a son, Kenneth, of Manilla, a sister, Mrs. Frank Hell, of Manning, and a brother Alfred, of Westside.

Henry Ewoldt of Manilla is Dead
Funeral services for Henry Ewoldt, 65, who died at his farm home near Manilla Tuesday morning, will be held from the Presbyterian Church there Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Ewoldt was a son of William and Margaret (Lemster) Ewoldt, born October 10, 1891, at Aspinwall. At the age of four he went to live with the Emil Martens family and as a young man worked on various farms.

He was married to Anna Grimm of Manning on January 18, 1922, and after working on farms in this vicinity for six years, they began farming for themselves and had occupied the present farm a mile north of Manilla for 17 years.

He is survived by his wife and one son, Kenneth, at home; one sister, Mrs. Frank Hell of Manning, and a brother, Alfred of Westside. Mr. Ewoldt was a member of the Presbyterian Church. The body was at Ohde Funeral home here until Wednesday at 3 when it was taken to the Ohde-Greteman home in Manilla.
