Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday, April 14, 1951, at the Ohde Funeral home here for Henry Joens, 61, Washington Township farmer. The Rev. Brown Garlock, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Joens was found dead in the barn of his farm home Saturday morning.

Surviving are his widow, the former Louisa Lohmeier; two sons, Lyle and Ronald; four brothers, Ben and Frank, Manning; John, Manilla; and Matthias, Buhl, Idaho; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Anthony, Manning.

Mr. Joens was born to Matthias and Margaretha (Thomsen) Joens on April 16, 1890, in Clinton County, Iowa.
