FINAL RITES FOR HERMAN EHRICHS
ASPINWALL

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Herman Ehrichs in the Zion Lutheran church at Manning with Pastor J.M. Ansorge in charge. Interment was at the, Nishnabotna cemetery.
Mr. Ehrichs was born Jan. 5, 1881, in Clinton County, and was one of 14 children. Soon after his birth his parents moved to western Iowa in Crawford County, where he received his education.

At one time he farmed in South Dakota, returning later to this community. He lived near and in Aspinwall up to the time of his death.
His sister, Mrs. Tena Tollgaard, had been keeping house for him the past several years.
Mr. Ehrichs was ill for the past year and passed away at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 27 days.

He is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Henry of Flandreau, S.D., Alfred of Manning, Emil of Denison, Mrs. Margaret Brus of Manning, Louie, Frank, August, and Mrs. Tena Tollgaard of Aspinwall.

Pallbearers were Ed Hinners, Hugo Kuhl, Claudius Hansen, Hans I Clausen, John Schilling and Alfred Schroeder, Sr.

Besides his parents, John and Anna Ehrichs, he was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Among those from a distance attending funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pederson, Mrs. Louie Hammer, Mrs. William Schmidt and Jimmy Schmidt of Flandreau, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Anderson of Randolph, Neb.
