HERMAN FRENTZ
Mrs. Julius Polzin has received word of the death of a
cousin, Herman Frenz, at Watertown, South Dakota, on February 27, 1966. Funeral
services were held March 3. Mr. Frenz formerly lived east of Gray.

Funeral services for Herman A. Frentz,
72, who died at his home at 1019 First Ave. N.E., Watertown late Sunday, Feb.
27, were held last Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Grace Lutheran church, Watertown,
preceded by a family devotion in Fellowship Hall at 1:15.
The Rev. Ralph Mueler, pastor of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church
officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Harvey Moyer, Fred Beskow, Albert
Mohr and Levi Kettelhut, all of Watertown; Albert
Krause and Vernon Long, both of Summit.
Mr. Frentz was born March 9, 1893, in Audubon, Iowa,
and came to South Dakota with his parents in 1911, settling on a farm west of Kampeska.
He married Theresa Heuer, October 27, 1917, in Watertown.
They moved to the South Shore area in 1918 and in 1934 to the Summit area where
he lived until moving to Watertown eight years ago.
He was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church and was a former member of the
South Shore district school board.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Darrell (Ramona) Hjellming
of Watertown and Mrs. Clement (Marcella) Sutton,
Rapid City; four sons, 'Gilbert, Victor and Hugo, all of Watertown, and Harold
of Sioux Falls; one sister, Mrs. Martha Werner of Watertown and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, two sons, two sisters and one brother.
