Funeral services for Miss Hertha David, daughter of Fred David, living north of Manning, were held Saturday afternoon at two p. m. at the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor John M. Ansorge in charge.

Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Miss David passed away at the St. Anthony Hospital at Carroll on Wednesday, April 16, 1941, where she had been rushed a short time previously.

The deceased lived in this community most of her life and was born in Audubon County, Iowa, on December 19, 1898. At the time of her death she was 42 years, 3 months and 27 days of age.

Acting as pallbearers were Emil David, Alfred David, Clarence David, Hugo Ahrendsen, Alfred Ahrendsen, Arthur Ahrendsen.
