Funeral for Mrs. Herman Anthony held Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. Herman (Hulda Hazel) Anthony, 67, were held at Zion Lutheran Church Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Pastor George B. Eschenbacher officiating. Burial was in the Manning cemetery. Pallbearers were Henry Vinke, Herman Kienast, Henry Kruse, Louis Ranniger, August Ploog, and Herman Lage.

Mrs. Anthony died on Wednesday evening at the Manning General hospital following a long illness. Daughter of Charles and Amelia Kuhl Molter, she was born April 15, 1891, in Iowa Township, Crawford County. She was educated in the rural schools of the township.

On February 21, 1912, she married Herman Anthony at Carroll. The couple farmed seven miles north and one mile west of Manning until 1948 when they retired and moved to Manning.

Mrs. Anthony is survived by her husband and two sons: Louis, Westside, Gilmore, Carroll; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and, a brother, Ed Molter of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Julius Molter, and a sister, Mrs. Frieda Mohr.
