Mrs. Ida Dethlefs
Mrs. Ida Dethlefs, 86, of Manning, died Monday, March 29, 1982, at the Manning General Hospital.

She was formerly associated with her husband and son in the Klean Klose dry cleaning shop here.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning with the Rev. Dennis Johnson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Lohrmann, Jim Karsten, John Ohde, Ronnie Beaver, William G. Ohde, and Ronald Niemann.

Mrs. Dethlefs is survived by a son, Kenneth Dethlefs and his wife, Virginia, and a daughter, Bernice and her husband, William F. Ohde, Manning, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, John and five half-sisters.

Mrs. Dethlefs was born May 13, 1895, at Aspinwall, a daughter of Peter and Margaretha (Heesch) Roggendorf. She was married to George Dethlefs December 16, 1914. They moved to Manning in 1922 where they operated the cleaning shop. He died on November 21, 1969. She continued to work in the shop until it was sold in 1977.
