MRS. IDA EWOLDT
Mrs. Ida Christine Ewoldt, 83, of Manning, died at the Manning General Hospital Monday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, at the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial will be in the Hayes Township Cemetery with nephews as pallbearers under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.

Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning, after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Ewoldt daughter of Hans C. and Catherine (Sinow) Hansen, was born on November 13, 1893, near Manning. She attended rural schools near her home. Her marriage to Emil Ewoldt took place on March 13, 1913. They farmed northwest of Manning until 1939 when her husband died and she then moved to Aspinwall and later to Manning.

She had been a resident of the long-term care unit of the Manning General Hospital for the past eight weeks. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Manning, and the Ladies Aid Society of the Church.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Russell (Marcella) Koepke of Denison and Mrs. John (Elda) Ehrichs of Manning; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and five step-great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Emil, she was preceded in death by parents and a daughter, Viola, in infancy.
