Death of Ira Dunnick
Ira Melvan, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dunnick, of Cameron Township, Audubon county, Iowa, Wed Saturday morning at nine o'clock, after only a short illness. Although he had been an invalid all his life never being able to take a step, he always seemed cheerful and happy.

Ira Melvan Dunnick was born in Audubon County, Iowa, July 16, 1903, and died in Audubon County, Iowa, January 9, 1909.

The funeral services were held January 11th at the home at 10 o'clock, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Cameron Center Cemetery. We extend to these parents our deepest sympathy.

Our son Ira has left us,
The savior has called his own,
Away from this world of sin,
To be near the great white throne.

Safe in the golden city,
With Jesus that holy One,
Where snow never can enter,
Or suffering ever come.

Although our grief is bitter.
And the home feels death his chill,
We will try to look to heaven,
And repeat, oh Lord, Thy will.

He is safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His loving breast,
Here the white-robed angels singing,
Sweetly his soul shall rest.

Oh Jesus, blessed Jesus,
We praise Thy promise given,
If we obey Thy teaching,
We may meet our son in heaven.

CARD OF THANKS.
To those who sympathized and assisted us during the recent illness and sad bereavement of our beloved son, Ira, we extend our most heartfelt thanks.
MR. AND MRS. PETER DUNNICK.
