Jacob Lage was the son of Claus Lage and Catharina Rhoeding (Rüdinger - another of several spelling variations). Jacob Lage, his wife Antje "Anna" (Klindt) and daughter Wilhelmina M. Lage came to America from Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, May 13, 1874, on the Ship Pomerania. They settled in Manning, Iowa, where they owned a farm.
Anna and Jacob's only daughter Wilhelmina "Minnie" Lage married William Henry Wolters and they had two children; Lorena and Arnold Wolters.
Lorena married George Ruben Woodford and Arnold never married.
Jacob and Anna are at rest in Manning Cemetery with daughter Wilhelmina (Lage) Wolters.
Note: the original obituary had Katherine Rhoeding and Klaus Lage & Anna Klindt but is now corrected based on various other sources.
