FUNERAL: Wednesday, June 1, 2011, 1:00 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 621 South Third Street, Clinton, Iowa. OES Service at 1 p.m. (public welcome) followed immediately by regular funeral service.
GRAVESIDE CEREMONY: Clinton Lawn Cemetery, 2610 Manufacturing Drive, East of the Lemke Funeral Homes following the funeral.


Jane Beasley, 47, of Clinton passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center South.

Funeral services will be at the First United Methodist Church on Wednesday June 1st at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be at Lemke South Chapel on Tuesday May 31st from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will take place in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family.

Jane was born November 3, 1963, in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of John and Mary Ann (Beaver) Miller.

Jane graduated from Manning High School in 1982. She went on to obtain her Bachelors degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

Jane married Bruce Beasley on February 18, 1995, at the First Presbyterian Church in Manning, Iowa.

Jane worked most of her career in management. She had a successful record of providing restaurant customer service and profitability. She worked for many restaurants throughout her career. Her most recent position was bookkeeper with Turner Appliance of Clinton.

Jane enjoyed family time. She enjoyed going to shows and playing games with her children and friends. She had a true love for flowers, and loved to collect snowmen and Longaberger baskets. Jane had a contagious and wonderful laugh.

Jane was involved with the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries in Manning, Iowa. She was also a member of the Clinton Chapter #65, Order of the Eastern Star. In 2002 she was appointed GrandMartha, for the Grand Chapter of Iowa, an appointment from the General Grand Chapter, followed in 2006-2009 as a Friend of a Feather. Jane taught Junior achievement for many years.

The highlight of Jane’s life is when she became a mother in the fall of 2007.

Survivors include: Her husband Bruce of Clinton, one daughter, Katelynn at home, one son, Daniel at home; Mother in-law, Katie Beasley of Iowa City, Iowa; one brother, David (Darla) of Independence, Iowa; one brother in-law, Art (Eileen) DeArmond of North Liberty, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Father-in-law Bruce L. Beasley.

Memorials can be made to the Clinton Chapter 65 OES (scholarship fund) and Whittier Elementary School.
