Jeanette M. Earlywine 79 of Richmond died Thursday December 18, 2014, at Reid Hospital. She was born October 31, 1935, in Manning, Iowa, to Julius and Edna Naomi (Mock) Gerken and lived here most of her life.

She worked at Pleasant View Nurseries, Kemper Cabinets, and McClellan's Dime Store. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a Carmelite, a member of Catholic Women United, the Tri-Parrish funeral meals committee, and Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include four children Tim (Sherry) Burge, Steve (Bonnie) Burge, Mike (Karen) Burge, and Phillip (Laura) Earlywine, three step children Judith (B.B.) Babin, Michael (Pam) Earlywine, and Donna Owens, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, three siblings Suzy Peacock, Rusty Gerken, and Greg Gerken, nieces and nephews. Her husband Howard, who she married April 1, 1967 died March 2, 2012; one daughter Cheryl Dellinger and one brother Bobby Gerken are also deceased.

Liturgy of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday December 23, 2014, at St. Mary's Church with Rev. Kevin Morris officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
