Jerry Kuster

Jerry L. Kuster, a resident of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born January 22, 1948, in Manning, Iowa, a son of Walter E. and Evelyn June (Williams) Kuster.

He departed this life Friday, July 29, 2016, in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 68 years. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, during the Vietnam War. Jerry's work as transportation supervisor for the Green Forest School system for over thirty years was of utmost importance to him; putting safe, reliable buses on our roads for our children. He was truly dedicated in every aspect of his life and love for the safety of his school, family and friends in an unsurpassed way.

He is also preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Kuster; two brothers-in-law, Harold Arbaugh and Walt Siebert; nephews, Ryan Kuster and Chris Siebert; father-in-law, Evan B. Siebert; and mother-in-law, Alberta Siebert. He was united in marriage with Mary Ann (Siebert) Kuster, who survives him of the home.

He is also survived by his two daughters, Jeri Lynn Backus and husband, John, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Keri Ann Newberry and husband, Shane, of Green Forest, Arkansas; mother, Evelyn June (Williams) Kuster; sister, Connie Arbaugh Meyerring; brother, Randy Kuster; three grandchildren, Lance Newberry, Lauren Newberry and Caleigh Coenen; brothers-in-law, Bill Siebert, Marv Siebert, Larry Siebert, George Siebert and John Siebert; sister-in-law, Patty Drabek; several nieces and nephews, a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

Visitation was held on Monday, August 1, 2016, at Nelson's Green Forest Chapel, Green Forest, Arkansas. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at the First Assembly of God Church, Green Forest, Arkansas, with Reverend Jim Goins officiating.
