Judith (Schroeder) Boysen


Judy was born to Lewis and Alma (Pfoltner) Schroeder on March 6, 1942, while living on a farm south of Manning. The family moved to a farm one mile west of Aspinwall where her brother, Lowell and family live. Judy attended country school between Aspinwall and Manilla and graduated from 8th grade. While the talk of school Reorganization was going on, Judy attended High School in Manilla and in her senior year came to Manning High and graduated with the class of 1960.
After High school she attended Personnel Training school in Omaha and began working for NW Bell Telephone company. She worked there For 4 years.
Judy and James Paron Boysen were Married June 21, 1964, at the Lutheran Church in Manning. They farmed around Deloit and Schleswig for 11 years, sold out and opened their own business in Holstein.
Judy and Jim had 3 children: Linnette, Jill and Ted. Ted proceeded his mother in death as a result of a motorcycle accident at the age of 31. Judy died in 2009.
