Death of an Infant.
The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Al Cadwell died last Friday morning at 4 o'clock. This little baby boy was just two weeks old, and was christened Judson Bartel Cadwell. The funeral was held at the house Saturday morning and conducted by Rev. Golden, and the little form was laid to rest in the family cemetery at Defiance. The bereaved parents have our sympathy.

Close the door lightly,
Hushed be the breath;
Our own darling Judson,
Is talking with death.
Gently he woes him,
He wishes to stay,
His arms are about him,
He bears him away.
Morning is coming,
Midnight is past:
Angels are chanting,
Death comes at last.
Come, stricken parents,
And stand by the bed;
Come, gaze on the sleeper,
Our Judson is dead.
Bear him out softly,
To his last rest;
Safe with his Savior,
Judson is blest.
Jesus has called him,
Pure, undefiled;
Take comfort, sad parents,
'Tis well with your child.
