"To Those I Love And Those Who Love Me"
When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so much to see and do.
You must not tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you cannot guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown.
But now it's time I traveled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me, if you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part.
So Bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be there.
And if you listen with your heart you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home."

The family wishes to express their gratitude for your kindness evidenced in thought, word and deed, and invites you to join them for lunch and fellowship at the Arcadia Legion Hall following the committal service.

Keith Joseph, son of Joseph Anton 'Junior' and Mary Ann (Willenborg) Hugeback, was born August 19, 1958, in Carroll, Iowa. He lived with his family near Manning where he attended school. Following his graduation in 1976, Keith entered the United States Army. He served in heavy equipment, receiving the Army Commendation Medal, until his honorable discharge in 1979.

In May of 1979, Keith was united in marriage with Lou Ann Docteur. Four children were born to this union. The family lived in Carroll for six years and then moved to Arcadia. Upon returning to Iowa after his discharge from the service, Keith started working for the Carroll County Secondary Roads Department. He served faithfully in that capacity until his health started to fail in mid 2004. On November 12, 2004, Keith was united in marriage with Mary Bauer Ewoldt. They continued to live in Arcadia.

Keith was a member of the Arcadia American Legion, Ehlers-Gerken Post 694. In his spare time he loved to hunt and fish and interested many of his family members in those pastimes. Over the years, he worked for Spies Fur, Sid Nelson and Arcadia Meats. Keith also enjoyed working on cars.

After Keith was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer his heath continued to fail and he died on Sunday, January 30, 2005, at St. Anthony Hospital, Carroll, Iowa, at the age of 46 years, 5 months and 11 days.

Preceding Keith in death are his parents and stepmother.

He is survived by his wife Mary Hugeback of Arcadia; four children: Adam Hugeback and wife Allison of Arcadia; Josh Hugeback of Arcadia; Jeremy Hugeback of Carroll and Amber Hugeback of Arcadia; three grandchildren: Morgan Lynmarie, Matthew Darrin and Jonathon Joseph; four step-children: Crystal and husband Jerome Creasy of Omaha, NE; Elizabeth Ewoldt of Carroll; Beau Ewoldt of Arcadia and Jared Ewoldt of Arcadia; two sisters Lydia and husband Bob Lehrkamp of Des Moines and Becky and husband John Moeller of Badger; twin brother Kent Hugeback and wife Kristy of Manning; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
