Following the committal services all friends and relatives are invited for luncheon and fellowship at the American Legion Hall in Manning.

LAURA HELL
Funeral services for Laura Hell will be held Thursday, August 3, 1978, at 11 a.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Pastor Henry Knoke of Trinity Lutheran Church, Audubon County, will officiate. Music will be by Trinity Lutheran Choir.

Interment will be in Manning Cemetery with Kenneth Ewoldt, Lenny Ewoldt, Donald Meyer, Norman Piper, Albert Musfeldt and Wilbur Hill as casketbearers.

Laura Katherine, a daughter of William and Margreta (Lemster) Ewoldt, was born October 19, 1897, near Aspinwall, Iowa. She attended the schools near her home and was united in marriage with Frank Hell on December 8, 1915. They farmed near Larabee, Iowa, for 16 years following their marriage and then moved to a farm south of Manning.

They retired to Manning in 1951 where her husband died April 12, 1960. Laura continued to live in her own home in Manning until failing health caused her to move to the Manning Plaza about 6 years ago. She passed away at Manning General Hospital on Monday, July 31, 1978, at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, parents and five brothers.

She is survived by two daughters, Verna, Mrs. Walter Bald, rural route, Audubon, Iowa, and Mrs. Gladys Mahnke, Manning; by one son, Dale Hell, Junction City, Kansas; by 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, as well as by many other relatives and friends.

Laura was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Audubon County, where she was confirmed June 4, 1954.
