Last week Leana (Mrs. P. Chris) Hargens who lives near the Five Mile House was called from this earth February 15, 1911 (29 years 1 month - tombstone records) by the Supreme Ruler of the Universe. For some time she has been a patient sufferer, and although all that could be done was done, she peacefully passed away leaving a husband, two children and many relatives to mourn her departure. Rev. Fauth of Westside, preached the sermon to the sorrowing relatives and friends. Afterwards the body was taken to the Manning Cemetery and laid to rest. All who were acquainted with the deceased speak of her as a good neighbor a loving wife and a friend to all. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of all their friends in their time of sorrow.
