Lendall Jahn

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manilla with burial in the Manning Cemetery in Manning. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Ohde Funeral Home in Manilla is handling arrangements in Iowa.

Lendall Larry Jahn was born January 14, 1958, at Manning, Iowa, to Larry L. and Marlene K. (Anthony) Jahn. As a young man he grew up and attended school in Manilla, graduating from Manilla High School in 1976. Lendall soon moved after graduation to Southwest Nebraska working construction and building irrigation pivots. After a short time his 40 year career with what is now (T.O.Haas Tire Company) began, and he was acting manager presently.

Lendall was united in marriage with Mary Ann Elizabeth Brantley on August 16, 1997, in Imperial, Nebraska, and the couple made Imperial their home. Lendall was a member of the Imperial Eagles Club and a social member of the Imperial VFW. He had many hobbies including fishing, hunting, and participating in fantasy football.

Lendall passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at his home in Imperial, Nebraska. He was 60 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Jahn of Imperial, Nebraska; mother, Marlene Jahn of Manilla; 3 children: Barbara Obermeier of Kearney, Nebraska; Kenneth Geiger and wife, Colene of Holdrege, Nebraska; Becky Daire and husband Daniel of Kearney, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; Siblings: Lynette Gaskill and husband Chad of Manilla; Laurie North of Manilla; Lance Jahn of Sioux City; Lonnie Jahn of Manilla; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2018, 2:00 PM at the Imperial Berean Church, Imperial, Nebraska, with Pastor Matt Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow Monday, June 4, 2018, at the Manning Cemetery, Manning.

A memorial has been suggested to the Imperial, Nebraska, Volunteer Fire Department.
