Lenora Lucille, daughter of Charles Frederick Jensen and Rose Magdalena (Johannsen) Hintz Jensen, was born September 16, 1924 in Denison, Iowa. She graduated from Denison High School in 1942 and started working for E.A. Raun, an attorney there.

On August 17, 1946, Lenora was united in marriage with Glen Jensen. They moved to Manning and were the parents of two children. Lenora worked as a legal secretary for various lawyers over the years. However, in 1972 she returned to full time employment with Hansen and Bunz Law Firm in Manning. Lenora retired in 2006 at the age of 82 years. She had been involved with the preparation of income tax returns for over sixty years. Lenora was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Manning and was a long-time choir member. She was also a member of P.E.O. and American Legion Auxiliary. In her spare time she thoroughly enjoyed playing bridge and volunteering at the Hausbarn/Heritage Park in Manning.

After a short illness, Lenora died on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the Manning Regional Healthcare Center at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 6 days.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Glen Jensen in 2008; half-brothers and sisters Hedwig Pautsch, Lucinda Jensen, Edna Jensen, Harold Jensen, Irene Hintz, Earl Hintz, Leona Wight and Vern Hintz.

Lenora is survived by her son Tom Jensen (Allana) of Grapevine, Texas; daughter Anne Burk of Woodbury, Minnesota; grandson Ryan Binkowski-Burk (Aleah) of Portland, Oregon; grandson Andrew Jensen at Iowa State University, Ames; step-grandson Alex O'Brien (Luisana) of The Colony, Texas; two great-grandsons and one step-great-grandson; niece LaNette Davis of Detroit, Michigan; Glen's sisters Phyllis Campbell of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Janice Ferry of Schleswig; other relatives and friends.
