Leo John Bruck, 72, of Manning died Monday (September 1987) at Manning General Hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Manning with burial in Manning City Cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Paul) Spieker of Princeville, Hawaii; and two grandchildren.

Bruck was born December 8, 1914. He graduated from Manning High School, attended Loras College in Dubuque and graduated from Iowa State University. He married Patricia Mock on July 24, 1951.

He was the owner and operator of Manning Creamery Co. for many years and was active in civic affairs in Manning. He was active in the Iowa Dairy Association and was a member of Sacred Heart parish at Manning.
