MRS. PAUL JOHNSON

Mrs. Paul (Lila Dalgety) Johnson passed away suddenly of a heart attack at her home in Aurora, Colorado, on March 25, 1981.

She was the daughter of Hilda Dalgety of Aurora, Colorado, and the late David Dalgety of Manning. Lila was born in Manning on November 30, 1923. She spent her childhood in Manning attending the local schools until she moved to South Dakota to complete her high school education and graduated from Winner, South Dakota, High School in 1942. She moved to Denver, Colorado, where she was employed by the Telephone Co. and in later years by Gates Rubber Co. as a receptionist.

On September 29, 1945, she was married to Paul H. Johnson. They lived in Denver all their married life.

Lila is survived by her husband Paul, two daughters, Cindy Bass of Bennett, Colorado, and Susan Atteberry of Aurora, Colorado; three sisters, Mrs. Ray (Phylis) Ehlers of Manning, Mrs. Robert (Alice) Savage of Tigard, Oregon, Mrs. Edward (Donavee) Madsen, Audubon, Iowa, and her mother, Mrs. Hilda Dalgety of Aurora, Colorado; three half-sisters, Mrs. Daryl (Diane) Genzen, Mrs. Merlin (Beverly) Irlbeck, Mrs. Duane (Kay) Otto, all of Manning, and many nieces, nephews, and friends of this area.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Dalgety.

Interment was March 27 at Heather Gardens in Littleton, Colorado.
