Luella Ansorge

Memorial Service for Luella Marie Ansorge, 87, will be held Friday, August 29, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 542 31st Street, Omaha, Nebraska, with family receiving friends one hour prior to service. There will be a private family interment in Manning, Iowa.

Luella was a very faithful member of, and longtime Sunday School teacher and member of ladies' society at First Lutheran Church, a charter member of Aksarben Curling Club in Omaha, a member of the U.S. Women's Curling Club Association, from 1984 - 1998 Luella attended World Curling Championships in North America and Europe, was a member of Valpo Guild. She loved gardening and entertaining her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Art, Karl, and Max, and her long-time best friend, Edith Workman.

Luella is survived by brother and sisters-in-law: James (Iona), Virginia, and Eileen; nieces: Jocelyn Worthington, Pauline Kolb, and Shelley Gleason; nephews: Charles, Will, Howard, John, Rick, and Robert Ansorge, and Dennis Meyer; many other relatives and friends.
