MARGARET ANN BOELL

Margaret Ann Boell was born July 14, 1936, the daughter of Andrew and Grace (Dulin) Dales. She died Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of seventy one.

Margaret was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, were she began her education. Still young, she moved with her parents to Manning, Iowa, and completed her education at the Manning Community High School in 1954. The family farmed for ten years in the Manning area before moving to a farm near Ricketts. Three years later they purchased a farm north of Ricketts and in 1989, they bought a farm south of Schleswig where they continued to live.

She found contentment in seeing and listening to the songs of birds around the house. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover Township, Charter Oak, Iowa.

Survivors include: her husband, Richard of Schleswig; two daughters, Mary Bruck and her husband, Dave; Lynette Schmidt; three sons, Andy Boell; Alan Boell; and Mike Boell; fourteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
