MRS. WILLIAM (MARGARET) DILLINGHAM
MANNING - Mrs. William (Margaret) Dillingham, 84, of Manning, died Friday, September 26, at the Manning General Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 29, at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Herman Ploen, Harry Ploen, Duane Otto, Fred Nulle, John Ehrichs, and Gerhardt "Butch" Beckman.
Survivors include a sister Malinda Ellison, Logan, Iowa; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband July 12, 1980; parents, two sisters and a half brother.
Mrs. Dillingham was born July 11, 1890, in Crawford County, a daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Behrens) Vehrs. She was married November 17, 1942, to William Dillingham in the Lutheran Church at Hastings, Nebraska. She spent most of her life in Carroll and Crawford Counties. She was employed for many years at the Priebe Hatchery in Manning. Times Herald, Carroll September 29, 1980, p 13, col 1-2


Margaret Dillingham is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
