Mrs. Pete Claussen, Formerly of Manning, Dies in South Dakota

Manning - Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Pete Claussen, 87, of Flandreau, South Dakota, Sunday, January 22, 1950.

Mrs. Claussen, sister-in-law of August Claussen of Manning, is also related to Mrs. John J. Struve and Mrs. Peter Struve.

Funeral services will be held at Flandreau Thursday.

Survivors include three children: Mrs. Fred Kruse, Mrs. William Ciebart, and John Claussen, all living near Flandreau; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband died about eight years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Claussen, former Manning residents, will be remembered by many people here.
