Thomas was an uncle of Jack Lorenzen of Manning
Mrs. Lorenzen was a resident of London, Minnesota.
She was born October 16, 1891, at Harlan, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Christina (Ablas) Kroger.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, a son, three brothers, and four sisters.
The daughters are Mrs. Harold (Arlene) Bahls, Austin and Mrs. Walter (Maxine) Tesch, Watertown, Wisconsin. The son, Lorenz, lives at London.
Sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be held at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church,
Austin, with the Rev. Harvey Gilbertson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood
Cemetery, Austin. Friends may call at the Jordan Mortuary here until noon Tuesday.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to our relatives, friends, and neighbors
for the many kindnesses shown during the illness and death of our beloved
husband and father, Thomas Lorenzen. A special thanks to those who sent cards
and flowers while in the hospital; Drs. Seery, Hagen, Isele, Nurses, and Nurses
Aids on 1st floor for their care, and Rev. Luecke and Rev. Swenson for their
prayers. Also, those who brought food and rendered other acts of kindness. Your
kindnesses will always be remembered. God bless you all.

Mrs. Thomas (Marie Catherine) Lorenzen, daughter of Thomas and Christina
Kroger, was born at Harlan, Iowa, October 16, 1891, and passed away at St. Olaf
Hospital Austin, Friday, September 9, 1960, after an illness of 17 days.
She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manilla, Iowa.
She was united in marriage with Thomas Lorenzen, January 7, 1914, at Denison, Iowa, and the past 39 years, lived in the London community. After retiring from farming, they lived in London.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America, Silver Tea Club and East Circle, Deer Creek Valley Church.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, September 13, at 2 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Austin, the Rev. Harvey Gilbertson officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, with Cletyus Johnson, Charles Kruse, Elmer Lau, Ronald Radloff, Harold Allen, Dale Attig serving as bearers.
Mrs. Lorenzen is survived by her husband; one son, Lorenz, London; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Bahls (Arlene), Austin, and Mrs. Walter Tesch, Watertown, Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 4 sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and an infant daughter.
Out-of-town persons attending the funeral came from Manilla,
Harlan, Glidden, and Manning, Iowa; Minneapolis and Canby, Minnesota; Flandreau, South Dakota.
