Funeral services for Marjorie Bernice Frank will be Wednesday, October 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning.

Burial will be at Manning City Cemetery.
Mrs. Frank, 78, died Sunday, October 21, 1990, at Manning Plaza nursing home.

The Rev. Richard Burrack of Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon County will officiate the services.

Honorary casketbearers will be Alfred Dammann, Leslie Doyel, Ray Christensen, and Harry Dreier. Casket bearers will be Wayne Tibben, Thomas Grau, Ernest Plagman, Harold Asmus, Orrin Plagman, and Gene Lohrmann.

Born May 30, 1912, at Botna, Iowa, she was a daughter of Brick and Bertha (Wallentine) Moore. She attended grade school in Botna and graduated from Irwin High School.

On August 13, 1935, she was married to Herman Frank. Her husband was killed September 14, 1936. Mrs. Frank and her son, Russell, then moved in with her parents.

On August 17, 1940, she was married to Carl Ernst Frank at Denison. They lived on a farm south of Manning.
Mrs. Frank was a homemaker and helped on the farm.
Mr. Frank died on March 13, 1983.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the church's ladies' aid society.

Mrs. Frank is survived by her son, Russell Frank, and his wife, Linda, of Manning; three grandchildren, Vicki and her husband, Dale Eberly, of Sioux City, Kim Frank of Ames and Rod Frank of Manning; a great-granddaughter, Stephanie Lin Eberly; and a sister-in-law, Fern Anthony of Manning.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands; her parents; a brother, Clinton Moore; and a granddaughter, Sandra.


Marjorie Frank is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
