Mrs. Greenlee Dead.
Mrs. Greenlee died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.A. Clark southwest of town Sunday night after a long illness, the principal ailment being, incidental to age. She and her husband have for some time made their home with their daughter, Mrs. Clark, and she had been in very poor health for a long time.

Mary Mills was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania, June 18, 1830, where she lived until she grew to womanhood and on January 4, 1849, she was united in marriage to Mr. Greenlee. They have thus been married a little over fifty-nine years and to this union were born nine children, seven boys and two girls, one boy and one girl having died in infancy and the other seven with their father are left to mourn their loss.

Mr. and Mrs. Greenlee moved from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin and from Wisconsin to Pottawattamie County, Iowa, and in 1882 they moved to Audubon County, where they have since resided. Mr. Greenlee is now past eighty-two years old.

The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the M.E. Church here, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Vedder, after which the body was laid to rest in the Maple Grove Cemetery. She was a good woman and was highly esteemed by a large circle of friends who now extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives during their hour of sorrow.

Mrs. Greenlee is well known to the writer and is the mother of M.E., Greenlee, who formerly lived on a farm east of Manning for several years. Her other sons, E.E., John, William, and Walter, who resided near Gray, are quite well-known to our Manning people.
