MARY HANSEN
Mary Hansen, daughter of Anna and Thomas Lorenzen, was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, August 26, 1879. When she was 12 years old her parents moved to America. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Germany.

In 1896 she was united in marriage to John Hansen and to this union 12 children were born.

She died June 2, 1961. Her parents, husband, three children, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn nine children: Frieda, Mrs. John Ewoldt of Denison, Anna, Mrs. Alfred Ewoldt of Westside, John of Huron, South Dakota, Minnie, Mrs. Gerhart Lamp of Manning, Tom of Stordon, Minnesota, Rose Martens of Shreveport, Louisiana, Ellen, Mrs. Dan Murphy of Sacramento, California, Freddie of Victor, LeRoy of Washington State. One brother, Louie Lorenzen, of Denison, two sisters, Cena, Mrs. Henry Landorf, of Denison, Tena, Mrs. Louie Jepsen of Denison, several other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held June 5 at 3 p. m. from the Huebner Funeral home. Rev. Robert Cordes officiated.

Interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Myron Dettbarn, Ivan Ewoldt, Lynn Ewoldt, Wayne Hansen, Kenneth Martens and James Quandt.

Card of Thanks - May we take this opportunity to thank our friends, relatives and neighbors for the many kindnesses during the death of our mother. A thank you for all the food and to the ladies preparing the lunch. Also for Rev. Cordes for his kindness, they will always be remembered.
