Mary J. Horak

WINNEBAGO, Nebraska - Mary J. (O'Gorman) Horak, 103, of Prairie Village, Kansas, formerly of Winnebago, died Thursday, August 21, 1997.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Prairie Village. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Michael's Cemetery at South Sioux City. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today, with a rosary at 8 p.m., at The Amos Family Funeral Home in Shawnee, Kansas.

Mrs. Horak was born August 13, 1894, in Manning, Iowa. She married Joseph F. Horak in September 1917, in Winnebago. He died in 1942. She had lived in Winnebago, O'Neill, Nebraska, and Prairie Village for over two years.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Joseph F. and Valera E. of Winnebago; two daughters, Florence M. McCarville of Prairie Village and Jean H. Weber of Roeland Park, Kansas; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances B. McGuire of Sioux City.
