MRS. INGLEDUE DIES
April 23, 1914 Manning Monitor

Mary McDaniel was born at Bloody Run, Pennsylvania, March 3, 1867, and died at her home in Indianola, Iowa, April 24, 1914, at the age of 57 years, 1 month, and 21 days. She was married to O.C. Ingledue, October 24, 1876, at Albion, Iowa. To them four children, were born, all of whom survive their mother: Mrs. Ethel J. Matteson, Decatur, Iowa; Harry E., Bismarck, North Dakota; Robert C., Forrest Lake, Minnesota; Alice Ingledue, Indianola, Iowa.

Mr. and Mrs. Ingledue moved to Carroll County, Iowa, in 1877. After 19 years there they moved to Guthrie County, and from there they came to Indianola, Iowa, seven years ago.

Mrs. Ingledue was converted and united with the Christian Church when she was about 16 years of age. For a number of years she has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. She united with the Indianola church June 12, 1908. For some time her health has made it impossible for her to attend the services of the church, but this did not quench her interest in its work. For many years prior to her enforced retirement she was a very active worker in the W.C.P.U. She was one whose life was spent in the service of others. In the pain of her last hours her first thought was for others.

In addition to her immediate family, Mrs. Ingledue leaves five grandsons, also two sisters and four brothers, all of whom, except a sister in Clemons, Iowa, and a brother in Canada, live in the state of Washington.

The funeral services were held at the home, 700 W. Boston Avenue Sunday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock.
