DEATH RECORD.
Coming so suddenly and unexpectedly as it did, the announcement of the death of Mrs. A.R. Judson on Wednesday morning caused no little sadness on the part of her many friends in Manning. On the morning of the day before her death, Mrs. Judson went about her household work in the regular way, feeling as well as usual, but along later in the day she was taken suddenly ill, and on Wednesday morning, surrounded by those who had been nearest and dearest, to her,

she passed away. In that she was the mother of three little daughters, makes the death of Mrs. Judson particularly sad. These little ones are yet to young, perhaps, to be able to fully realize what means the sweet companionship of an own mother. But they have a kind father, who will ever see to it that they are well protected and cared for.

Funeral services were held this forenoon at ten o'clock, and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery, east of the city. Father M.M. Tearney, of Manilla, officiated.

Mary Ella (Milligan) Judson was born 29 years ago back in the state of New Hampshire. In 1890 she was united in marriage to A.R. Judson at Independence, Iowa. In 1892 she came with her husband to this city, where they have ever since resided.

For some months prior to her death she was afflicted with diabetes and it was this, associated with other complications, that resulted in her death. Mr. Judson and his three little children have the sympathy of all Manning people in the loss of wife and mother.

Mary Judson is buried in the Manning Catholic Cemetery.
