MINNIE CLAUSEN
Minnie, daughter of William and Margretha Joens Puck, was born March 21, 1894 in Lincoln Township, Audubon County, Iowa. She attended rural schools. Before her marriage Minnie was a housekeeper and also served as a midwife.

On February 22, 1922 Minnie was united in marriage with Henry Clausen. They made their home in Atlantic. Her husband died there on November 16, 1946 and at that time Minnie moved to Manning to make her home with her brothers and sisters. She moved to the Manning Plaza in April of 1983. Minnie was hospitalized for a short time and died unexpectedly at Manning General Hospital on Saturday, July 11, 1987 at the age of 93 years, 3 months, and 20 days.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; by the following brothers: Peter, George, Albert, Adolph, Harry, and Bernhard; and by the following sisters: Alvina, Ella, Frieda, and Laura.

Minnie is survived by her brother, William Puck and his wife, Velma, of Manning; by her sister, Maggie Puck, of Manning; by her brother, Edward Puck and his wife, Helen, of Manning; by her sister-in-law, Elsie Puck, of the Manilla Manor; by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; and especially by friends she made while she made her home at the Manning Plaza.
