Daughter of August and Christina (Luetje) Reimers, she was born January 26, 1881, near Mt. Joy, Iowa, and came to this community as a child. She attended the Manning schools and was married to John Frahm at Manning. He died in 1940.
She had been in failing health for two years, much of that time spent at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Petersen, where she died early Sunday morning, March 26, 1961. She was preceded in death by her husband, child in infancy and her parents.
She is survived by her children: Mrs. Petersen (Hilda), Manning; Dr Edward Frahm, Milan, Michigan; Mrs. Wallace (Florence) Sickler and Ray Frahm, both of Whittier, California; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Herman (Laura) Vogt of Manning and a brother, J.A Reimers of Spokane, Washington.
Mrs. Frahm spent all her life in this area with the exception of 1915 and 1916, when she lived in Nebraska.
I'm occasionally adding the actual scanned image of the obituary I make using my VERY expensive - large commercial scanner,
and/or also other articles about the deceased person that were published in the Manning Monitor.
I want to also comment about people who are taking my obituaries, pictures, and/or other articles about a person/family and posting them on other websites.
You do NOT have permission or the right to do this - you are stealing my historical work.
Buy your own scanning equipment, pay for memberships to other commercial websites,
and spend decades working on your local history like I have - then you'll understand why I'm making these comments!
Thank you for your attention to this matter - Dave Kusel
