Minnie E. Hershman
Services for Mrs. Minnie E. Hershman, 100, 2545 24th Street, Rock Island, will be held at a later date in Manning, Iowa. Interment is in Manning Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Milan, Illinois. Trimble Funeral Home, Moline, Illinois, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hershman died Monday, February 14, 1994, in Laurelwood Health Care Center, Rock Island.
The former Minnie Elizabeth Tessman was born July 8, 1893, in Audubon, Iowa. She was the daughter of Fred and Wilhelmina (Schultz) Tessman. She married Charles B. Hershman in January 1921, in Audubon. He died in November 1977.
Mrs. Hershman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Milan, and the Presbyterian Church in Manning, Iowa.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gertrude and Darcy Lloyd of Charleston, South Carolina; a son and daughter-in-law, Clark and Mollie Hershman of Rock Island; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
