MRS. HERMAN DAMMANN

Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Dammann were held Friday, February 27, 1981, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Manning with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating.
Organist was Dorothy Kusel.
Interment was in Manning Cemetery with Alfred Dammann, Leroy Dammann, Lester Dammann, Oscar Rudnick, Myron Bogatzke and Marvin Wiemann as casketbearers.
Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in charge of arrangements.

Pauline, daughter of August and Bertha Bogatzke Rudnick, was born March 30, 1890, in Lincoln Township, Audubon County, Iowa. She attended the schools in that area.

She was baptized May 11, 1890, and confirmed March 27, 1904, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln Township, Audubon County, Iowa.

On December 14, 1916, she was united in marriage with Herman Dammann, also at Trinity Lutheran Church. They farmed in Audubon County until 1947 when they retired to Manning.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Manning.

Pauline entered the Manning General Hospital a short time ago and died there on Tuesday, February 24, 1981, at the age of 90 years, 10 months and 24 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Fred, Ed and Robert Rudnick and by one brother in infancy.
She is survived by her husband, Herman, by two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Laura Rudnick of Audubon and Mrs. Louise Rudnick of Wall Lake; also by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and sympathy shown through prayers, cards, flowers, food and memorials during the hospitalization and death of my wife Pauline.
Special thanks to Pastor Heinicke for his prayers and services and to the ladies of the Lutheran Church for preparing the noon meal.

Many thanks to the hospital staff and to Dr. Chandler for their care, Ohde Funeral Home for their kind and courteous service and to Dorothy Kusel, the organist.
