MRS. RALPH (PEARL H.) GRUNDMEIER
MANNING - Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph (Pearl Henrietta) Grundmeier, 64, of Manning, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 9, at Zion Lutheran church with the Rev. Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Dorothy Kusel was organist. Burial, under the direction of the Ohde Funeral Home of Manning, was in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Grundmeier was bookkeeper for Home Oil Company and Ralph's Motor Supply for many years. She died Thursday, November 6, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha after an extended illness.

Surviving are her husband, a brother Harley Jentzen, Carroll; two nieces she helped raise: Mrs. John (Sharil) Lawler, Breda, and Mrs. Bob (Diane) Henkelman, Manning; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Marvin.

Mrs. Grundmeier was born January 16, 1916, at Arcadia, a daughter of Frank and Dena (Pille) Jentzen. She attended school in Arcadia and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

She was married to Ralph Grundmeier July 12, 1939, at Carroll. They moved to Manning in 1949 and she had been employed by the two firms since that time.


Pearl Grundmeier is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
