Roger Gosch

Roger Gosch, 82, of Rockwell City, died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge.

Funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. today at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lake City with the Rev. Craig Zandi officiating.

Burial was at Lake Creek Cemetery in Rockwell City.

Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.

Roger was born December 28, 1928, at Nishnabotna Township in Crawford County, to Emil and Mamie (Wegner) Gosch.

On July 3, 1950, he was united in marriage to Susan Subbert at Jackson, Minnesota, and he worked as a farmer all his life. Roger was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lake City.

Roger is survived by his wife Susan of Rockwell City; children Pam Anderson of Steamboat Rock, Steve (Jeanne) Gosch of Lanesboro, Deb Wuebker (Delwin Krause) of Glidden, Dave (Pat) Gosch of Hayfield, Minnesota, and Jana (Jay) Maguire of Rockwell City; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and brother Clem (Carmen) Gosch of Downey, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents Emil and Mamie Gosch, daughter, Cynthia Gosch; and brother, Norman Gosch.
