ROMAN M. HINNERS

Roman M. Hinners, 81, of Halbur died Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at his home.

Mass of the Christian burial for Mr. Hinners will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 1996, at St. Augustine Church in Halbur with the Rev. Paul Kelly officiating. Gift bearers will be Margie Hacker and Jeanette Eischeid, who will also be lector.

Casket bearers will be Don, Arden, Vernon, Larry, Dick, and Jack Hinners.
Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.

Friends will call after 2:30 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Friday at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll. There will be a vigil service 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born September 15, 1914, at Milford, a son of William F. and Anna Marie (Schroeder) Hinners.

Mr. Hinners was a retired farmer and a member of St. Augustine Parish in Halbur.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law: Kathryn (Mrs. William) Hinners of Laurens and Nellie (Mrs. Gilbert) Hinners of Milwaukee, Wis.

Mr. Hinners was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers: Edmund, Arthur, William Jr., Gilbert and Victor; and four sisters: Sister M. Winifred (Cecelia), Zita (Mrs. Joe) Stein, Colette Bock and Gunilda Hinners.
