RONALD HARVEY FREETLY

Ronald Harvey Freetly was born at Lake City, Iowa, June 6, 1915, and died at the children's hospital at Iowa City, February 19, 1923, aged 7 years, 8 months and 13 days. He leaves two sisters, Helen and Frances, one grandfather and numerous other relatives. His father preceded him to the better world three years ago and two brothers died in infancy.

Little Ronald has been ill for a long time, but he bore his affliction bravely and was ever cheerful and smiling. He was loved by all who knew him. The doctors and nurses at the children's hospital had naught but words of praise for little Roland. He was a wonderful little patient and will be greatly missed by all his little crippled friends at the hospital, as well as the nurses who gave him comfort and care.

The funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, by Rev. Leitch, from the Presbyterian Church and the little body was tenderly placed in the Lake City Cemetery.

The above is the obituary of a son of Mrs. Marie Freetly, who used to live in Manning.
