MANY ATTEND SERVICES OF ROSA FRIEDRICHSEN

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Friedrichsen, 73, were held Wednesday afternoon June 8, 1949, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln Township, with the Rev. Wm. Kanning officiating. Burial was at Manning with Fred P. Hansen, Fred Rudnick, LeRoy Musfeldt, Alfred David, Ben Welch and Peter Moeller acting as pallbearers.

Rosa Friederichsen, daughter of Christian and Wilhelmina (Wohlert) Kusel was born April 10, 1876, in Crawford County. She was united in marriage with Henry Friedrichsen Nov. 16, 1895, at Yankton, S.D. For the first six years of their married life, they lived in Knox county, Neb., coming then to Leroy township, Audubon County. Since 1919 the family resided in Lincoln Township.

On November 28, 1914, both she and her husband were received into membership of Trinity Lutheran Church by baptism, just four days before their children, Herman, Clara, William and Helena, were confirmed. After the death of her husband in September 1933, she continued to make her home with her children, Flora and Emil.

Mrs. Friedrichsen was stricken with heart failure Saturday evening, her age at death being 73 years, 1 month and 24 days.

She is survived by the following children: Flora and Emil at home, Herman of Audubon, Mrs. Fred Wiese (Clara) of Casey, William of Watertown, S.D., Mrs. Emil David (Lena) of Audubon; Mrs. Roy Borkowski (Julia) of Jefferson, and Edward of Bakersfield, Calif.

She also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Wulf of White Lake, S.D., Mrs. Lena Carlson of Vale, S.D., Mrs. Anna Martens of Newell, S.D. and Mrs. Edith Adams of Yankton, S.D., as well as 29 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

All the children were present at the funeral and all sisters with the exception of Edith Adams. Others attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Friedrichsen of Logalton, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Herman Luellman, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lamprecht, jr., Mrs. Wm. Lamprecht, sr., Harvey Adams, Mrs. Ed Brunken, Pearl Kusel, Clara Busch, all of Bloomfield, Neb., Dave Milligan of Norfolk, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. George Meyers of Crofton, Neb. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rohwer and Fred Rohwer of St. Joseph, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Wiese of The Dalles, Ore., Gilmore Friedrichsen and Harold Wiese of Minneapolis, Minn., Alvin Carsten of Central City, S.D., Mrs. Mary Welldorf of Deloit: Chris Wulf of Boyer, Mrs. Hans Beese of Ames, Mr. and Mrs. James S. White of Omaha, Mrs. George Wolfe, jr., of Exira, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Brown of Des Moines, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Larsen of Casey, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Friedrichsen of Schleswig, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Lamp of Denison, Mr. and Mrs. John Joens, F.E.
