MRS. MARVIN LAMP
Mrs. Marvin Lamp, 70, died of a stroke at her home here Sunday morning, December 22, 1957, following an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ohde Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Sinning, minister of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Lamp was born Anna Rosa Christina Kuhl, daughter of Peter and Louisa (Lohmeier) Kuhl, Sr., December 31, 1886, on a farm nine miles north of Manning. When a small child, she moved with her parents to a farm three quarters of a mile west of Manning. She was graduated from Manning High School in 1904 and had taught in rural schools for five years.

Her marriage took place January 21, 1909. Mr. and Mrs. Lamp farmed in Crawford County until 1946, when they retired and moved to Manning.

Surviving with her husband, who has been an invalid for many years and is now in the Manning General Hospital, are a son, Joe Lamp, Garner; daughter, Mrs. Harry (Louise) Koester, Manning; three grandchildren, Craig and Bruce Lamp, and Dale Koester; two brothers, Peter and Emil Kuhl, Manning, and one sister, Mrs. Henry (Bonita) Hagedorn, Manning.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Henry and Robert Kuhl, and two sisters in infancy.
