Ross Golden

Summary: Professor Emeritus of Radiology, died in Laguna Hills, California. Ross Golden was born in Iowa Center, Iowa, on September 30, 1889. He graduated from Manning High School in 1908.

In 1922 he was appointed Attending Physician and Head of the X-Ray Department of the Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. In 1928 Dr. Golden was appointed Director of the Radiological Service and promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine in the newly opened Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in Washington Heights. In 1934, Dr. Golden was appointed Professor of Radiology and Chairman of the Department, serving in this capacity until retirement in 1954.
