Ruby Beisch

Mrs. Albert Beisch, 51, the former Ruby Elsie Emmick, died at her home in South Manning Monday, March 9, 1964, following a six-month illness.

Requiem mass will be read at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, Manning, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited both Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Beisch was born February 10, 1913, near Lidderdale in Carroll County, a daughter of William and Ada (Holloway) Emmick. She graduated from Lanesboro High School and on November 27, 1932, married Albert Beisch November 27, 1932, at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Carroll.

Mr. and Mrs. Beisch lived at Coon Rapids for three years, then moved to Carroll. In 1950, they came to Manning where they operated the Beisch Clothing Store. She was a past grand regent of the Catholic Daughters of America at Manning. Active in Democratic Party affairs, Mrs. Beisch was a past president of the Carroll County Democratic Women's Organization; past secretary of the Democratic Central Committee; and was serving as Warren Precinct committeewoman.

She is survived by her husband; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Judy Beisch, Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Roberta Lee and Janet Lee Beisch; her mother, Mrs. William Emmick, Carroll; a brother, Clarence Emmick, Waterloo; and three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Louise) West, Garland, Texas; Mrs. Leo (Bernice) Kennebeck, Carroll; and Mrs. Carol (Doris) Faust, Sheldon.
