Sandra K. Lisec

Funeral services for Sandra K. Lisec were held Friday, July 8, 1994, at 10:30 a.m. at Zajicek Funeral Home in Wilber, Nebraska. Pastor James Helgren, officiated the service with music provided by Elaine Parde and Lisa Parde. Interment was held at North Fort Cemetery, rural Western, Nebraska, with Lumir Novak, John Janecek, Jeff Vinke, Lynn Erb, Lois Zach, and Kathy Zajicek as casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers were Gale Zach and Roger Schwieso.

Sandra K. Lisec, 43, the daughter of Delbert and Odessa (Genzen) Vinke, was born on June 21, 1951, in Manning, Iowa, and passed away on July 6, 1994, at Lincoln, Nebraska.

She grew up in Manning, Iowa, and attended Manning High School graduating with the class of 1969. She attended the College of Dental Assistance in Blair, Nebraska, graduating in 1970. After her schooling, she was employed with a dentist group in Omaha, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Donald W. Lisec on October 17, 1970, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, Iowa. The couple made their home in Swanton for a short period, later moving to Wilber where she was employed at the Wilber Nursing Home.

Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Jerrad Wayne Lisec, on April 9, 1976; and her sister, Shirley Schwieso.

She is survived by her husband, Don, of Wilber; daughter Michelle Lisec of Lincoln; parents, Delbert and Odessa Vinke, of Manning, Iowa; brothers, Cliff Vinke of Maine and Allen Vinke of Lee Summit, Missouri; and nieces and nephews.
