MRS. LOUIE JAHN MANNING, IOWA

Funeral services for Mrs. Louie Jahn, 42, will be conducted by the Ohde Funeral Home at the Jahn home northwest of Manning Wednesday at 1 o'clock.

The Rev. John M. Ansorge will be in charge. Burial will be in the Hayes Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Jahn had suffered for some time with high blood pressure. She took seriously ill last Wednesday morning and was taken to the Wyatt Hospital, where she passed away Sunday morning February 6, 1938. Death was attributed to a hemorrhage.

She was born Stella Mordhorst at Muscatine, October 25, 1895. She was married to Louie Jahn at Manning, March 8, 1916. All her married life she lived on the farm where her last rites will be held Wednesday. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith. Survivors include her widower, two daughters, Irene and Ruby, two sons, Jimmy, and Wayne, all at home, her twin sister, Mrs. John Rowedder, also Mrs. Hugo Jahn and brother, Ed Mordhorst, all living near Manning.

MRS. LOUIS JAHN DIED IN MANNING HOSPITAL SUNDAY
Mrs. Louis Jahn, wife of Louis Jahn, north of Aspinwall farmer, died Sunday at the hospital in Manning. She had been a patient at the hospital only three or four days and died as the result of a hemorrhage.

Mrs. Jahn was before her marriage Stella Mordhorst and was 42 years old. She is survived by her widower and four children, two daughters, Irene and Ruby, and two sons, Wayne and Jimmy, all at home. She is also survived by a twin sister, Mrs. John Rowedder, and a brother, Ed Mordhorst, of near Manning; another sister, Mrs. Hugo Jahn, lives near Manilla.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Jahn home. Rev. John Ansorge of Manning conducted the services. Burial was made in the Hayes Township Cemetery.
