Mrs. Emil Klindt Is Laid To Rest

Sadness was cast over the town and entire locality Saturday, Aug. 24 when the news reached here that Mrs. Emil Klindt of Iowa Township, Crawford county, had, passed away at the St. Catherine hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 57 years, 9 months and 2 days.

For the past two years Mrs. Klindt had been in failing health. She sought relief wherever possible and spent several months, at Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and in March 1940, underwent a serious operation at Iowa City. After improving to a certain extent she came home and then entered the Wyatt Memorial hospital here. Here it was decided to remove her to the St. Catherine hospital at Omaha where she underwent another serious operation. Nine days later she passed quietly into eternity.

"Beckoning from beyond, a heavy heart grew light; and with the hope of everlasting joy and peaceful rest, passed into life where fragrant flowers bloom in all eternity."
