Virginia Ann Francisco, 51, Anderson, Mo., died March 13 at her home there. Virginia was born Feb. 20, 1954 in Manning, to Vernon and Rosalie Nordby. She was baptized in the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Irwin. In the early 1970s, Virginia moved from Missouri Valley to Anderson. She worked for Tatum Motor Company in Anderson for several years and Currence Ford New Holland, Joplin, Mo. for five years. For the past nine years Virginia worked at Sibley/Agile Manufacturing in Anderson, where she held the position of Team Leader.

Virginia loved the outdoors, landscaping and animals. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends. She loved nature and would often take in and care for any stray animal that came her way. At work Virginia was well known for her dedication to her job and for her practical jokes. She attended the United Methodist church in Lanagan, Mo. She was united in marriage to Don Edward Francisco, April 7, 1979 at the First Baptist Church in Anderson, and to this union two children were born, Jennifer and Shane.

Virginia was preceded in death by her father Vernon Nordby and brother Terry L. Nordby and sister-in-law Karen Motley.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Don; her children, Jennifer and Shane Francisco, both of Anderson; her parents, Lloyd and Rosalie Williams, Loveland; three brothers, Ron Nordby and his wife, Rhonda, Missouri Valley; Doug Williams and his wife, Cindy, Logan; and Tim Williams, Loveland; two sisters, Randi McEvoy and her husband, Jeff, Harlan; and Vanessa Sorensen and her husband, Allan, Missouri Valley; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends that will dearly miss her. Friends may pay their respects from noon until 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, March 16, 2005) at the Walker-Dowd Funeral Home, Anderson, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 17 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Lanagan, Mo., Rev. Tom Anderson, officiant.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Raymond Hines and Sherry Welch. Casket Bearers will be Ronnie Black, Tom Milas, Jerry Francisco, Clyde Sherman, Allan Sorensen and Jeff McEvoy. Interment will be at the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery, with a luncheon following at The United Methodist Church, Pineville, Mo.
